Radek Pivokonský, Ing., Ph.D.

Founder & Lead Software Engineer, QENEX s.r.o.

An engineer with 25 years of experience in connecting systems — from industrial buses through measurement instruments and engine control units to AI systems. A graduate in cybernetics from Brno University of Technology, with a Ph.D. in modelling of viscoelastic polymer flows (Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Rector's Award for the doctoral thesis).

As a researcher at the Institute of Hydrodynamics of the Czech Academy of Sciences he published in the field of rheology and built his own measurement instruments. In the energy sector he designed control algorithms for power plant units. In automotive he developed diagnostic and control software for off-road vehicles as well as engine ECU firmware (ARM, C/C++), and worked with the XCP and J1939 protocols from both sides — as a user and as an implementer.

In 2026 he founded QENEX s.r.o., where he builds the QSuite / QInsight platform — software for measurement, calibration and real-time visualization of data from ECUs and embedded devices, complemented by a firmware SDK for microcontrollers.
